I am currently a doctoral candidate in the Program in Modern Thought and Literature at Stanford University. My research centers on architecture and urban space in the context of automated urban infrastructures and global networks. My dissertation juxtaposes social housing and library infrastructures in the Global South and North in the context of techno-utopian visions of automated urban governance, in order to track emerging socio-technological and cultural coordinates of the urban in the 21st century. My case studies will include social housing in Vienna, Austria, and public libraries in Bogotá and Medellín, Colombia. I also collaborate with Laura Vlieg, who does the photography for my projects.
